Notion and Notion AI: plans, add-ons and how to cancel
Notion charges the workspace owner/billing admin. Cancel or downgrade in Settings & members > Billing (desktop/web). If you bought a mobile subscription SKU, also check Apple/Google.
Export important pages before downgrading if you are near Free-plan limits. Notion AI may be bundled or add-on depending on the current plan structure.

How to cancel or downgrade Notion
Workspace on the web/desktop app
- Open Notion as a workspace owner.
- Go to Settings & members > Billing.
- Choose Cancel plan / Downgrade / turn off AI add-on as shown.
- Confirm the date paid features end.
App Store / Play purchase
- If Billing says you subscribed through Apple or Google, cancel there.
- iPhone: Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions > Notion.
- Android: Google Play > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions > Notion.
Before you downgrade
- Export Markdown/HTML/PDF for critical docs.
- Check guest vs member counts - Free plans limit some sharing features.
- Remove unused seats on Business plans to lower cost without full cancel.
Refunds
Contact Notion support from Billing for accidental upgrades; store refunds go through Apple/Google.
Alternatives

I am not the owner - can I cancel?
No. Ask the workspace owner, or leave the workspace and stop being a paid seat if on a per-seat plan.
Does cancel delete my pages?
Downgrading restricts features; data usually remains, but stay under Free limits.
What about Notion Calendar / Mail?
Separate products may have their own billing lines - check Billing carefully.
