iCloud+ price tiers and how to cancel or downgrade
iCloud+ is Apple's paid iCloud storage and privacy feature pack. Cancel or change plans on iPhone under Settings > [your name] > iCloud > Manage Account Storage / Change Storage Plan, or at account.apple.com.
Download or offload photos and backups first if downgrading below your used space. If iCloud+ comes from Apple One, change or cancel Apple One instead.

How to cancel or downgrade iCloud+
iPhone or iPad
- Open Settings and tap your name.
- Tap iCloud, then Manage Account Storage or Change Storage Plan (wording varies by iOS version).
- Choose a smaller plan or Downgrade Options, confirm with Apple ID password/Face ID.
- If storage is part of Apple One, manage Subscriptions > Apple One instead.
Web

- Open iCloud / Services storage management and downgrade or cancel paid storage.
Windows iCloud for Windows
- Open iCloud for Windows and look for storage/manage options, or use account.apple.com in a browser.
Critical: used space vs new quota
If you use 180GB and drop to 50GB, iCloud stops uploading and may eventually remove data from iCloud after warnings. Offload to a Mac/PC or another cloud first.
Refunds
Use reportaproblem.apple.com for recent Apple charges.
Alternatives
- Google One
- Dropbox
- Local Time Machine / external drive for Mac backups
