Twilio price (October 2026) and how to cancel
In the US (as of 2026-10-18), Twilio is primarily pay-as-you-go: US SMS about $0.0083 per segment plus carrier fees, Programmable Voice from about $0.014/min outbound, and local numbers about $1.15/month (Twilio pricing). Stop recurring charges by releasing phone numbers and unused resources, then close the account (Close account Help).
SendGrid is a separate product with its own cancel flow. Uninstalling SDKs does not release numbers.

How to cancel / close Twilio
Stop resources then close
- Sign in at console.twilio.com.
- Release phone numbers and delete unused Messaging Services, SIP trunks, and recordings.
- Follow Twilio Help to Close account / request balance refund if eligible.
- Rotate API keys after close.
How to confirm it worked
You're done when:
- Numbers are released and the account is closed.
- No new Twilio number/usage invoice posts.
