In the US (as of 2026-10-18), Mailgun pricing lists Basic from $15/month (10k emails), Foundation at $35/month (50k), and Scale at $90/month (100k). Free allows 100 emails/day. Cancel in Control Panel → Billing (Mailgun Help).
Overage emails bill beyond the plan allotment. Uninstalling SDKs does not cancel.
Account admin required. Remaining balance may be charged before close - Confirm Help.

How to cancel Mailgun
In Billing
- Sign in at app.mailgun.com.
- Open Billing / Account settings.
- Cancel or downgrade the plan and confirm.
- Rotate API keys if you are closing the account.
How to confirm it worked
You're done when:
- Plan shows canceled / Free.
- No new Mailgun subscription charge posts after that.

Common problems
- Only rotated one API key. Plan renews.
- Left overage sending on. Extra email fees possible.
- Non-admin tried to cancel. Need permissions.
- Only deleted the SDK. Billing continues.
