In the US (as of 2026-10-18), Atlassian Jira pricing lists Free (limited users), Standard about $9.70/user/month (first 100-user band; lower rates at higher bands), and Premium about $19.60/user/month, plus Enterprise. Deactivate/cancel in admin.atlassian.com → Billing → Manage → Deactivate (Atlassian Support).

Archiving a project does not cancel the site subscription.

How to cancel Jira Cloud

Deactivate the subscription

Sign in to admin.atlassian.com/billing as a billing admin.
Open the Jira subscription → Manage.
Choose More actions → Deactivate and confirm.
Export issues first; note data retention after deactivate.

How to confirm it worked

You're done when:

Jira subscription shows deactivated / ending.
No new Atlassian Jira charge posts after that.

Only archived projects. Site renews.
Left Marketplace apps. Separate renewals.
