To cancel, sign in at account.grammarly.com/subscription and click Cancel Subscription, then confirm. Pro features continue until the end of the billing period, then your account becomes Grammarly Free.
The annual plan is less than half the monthly price, which is why many people end up on it - and then get surprised by the renewal. Turning off renewal right after you buy is safe: you keep Pro for the full year.

How to cancel Grammarly Pro
On the web
- Go to account.grammarly.com/subscription and sign in.
- Click Cancel Subscription at the bottom of the page.
- Answer the short survey and confirm Cancel subscription.
- Look for the confirmation email.
iPhone (Grammarly Keyboard purchased via Apple)
- Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad and tap your name at the top.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Tap Grammarly.
- Tap Cancel Subscription (or Cancel Free Trial), then confirm.
Refunds
Grammarly's terms generally don't provide refunds for partial billing periods, but in practice support reviews requests for recent renewals, and customers in the EU/UK have statutory withdrawal rights. Apple-billed subscriptions are refunded through Apple.
