Dropbox Plus (2 TB) costs $9.99/month billed yearly ($119.88) or $11.99/month billed monthly. Professional (3 TB, formerly Essentials) costs $199/year.
To cancel, sign in at dropbox.com > avatar > Settings > Plan, scroll down and click Cancel plan. Your account drops to the free 2 GB Basic plan at the end of the billing period.

How to cancel Dropbox
On the web
- Sign in at dropbox.com.
- Click your avatar (top right) and choose Settings.
- Open the Plan tab.
- Scroll to the bottom and click Cancel plan, then follow the prompts to confirm.
Bought through the iPhone app
- Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad and tap your name at the top.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Tap Dropbox.
- Tap Cancel Subscription (or Cancel Free Trial), then confirm.
Bought through Google Play
- Open the Google Play Store app and tap your profile icon (top right).
- Tap Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions.
- Select Dropbox.
- Tap Cancel subscription, pick a reason and confirm.
What happens to your files over 2 GB
Nothing is deleted when you downgrade. But if you're storing more than 2 GB, Dropbox stops syncing new changes until you're under the limit. Before cancelling, move large folders to your computer or another cloud service, or delete what you don't need.
Refunds
Dropbox's terms generally don't refund partial periods; you keep paid features until the period ends. If an annual plan renewed and you haven't used it, contact Dropbox support promptly. Some regions have statutory refund rights.
