In the US (as of 2026-10-18), EA's EA Play page lists EA Play at $5.99/month or $39.99/year and EA Play Pro at $16.99/month or $119.99/year. Cancel in your EA account membership settings, or in the Xbox / PlayStation / Steam subscription tools if that store bills you. EA Play is also included with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass - if Game Pass is on the statement, cancel Game Pass (or its EA Play benefit path) instead of a standalone EA Play plan.

Uninstalling an EA app or game does not cancel the membership.

Check the statement line: EA, Xbox, PlayStation or Steam. Cancel on the same platform that renews the charge.

How to cancel EA Play

If EA bills you on the web

  1. Sign in at EA / myaccount.ea.com.
  2. Open manage membership / subscription settings.
  3. Cancel or turn off auto-renew and confirm the end date.

If Xbox / Microsoft bills you

  1. Open Microsoft account Services & subscriptions.
  2. Find EA Play or Game Pass and turn off recurring billing.

If PlayStation bills you

  1. On console or store.playstation.com, open Subscriptions and turn off auto-renew for EA Play.

How to confirm it worked

You're done when:

  • EA, Xbox, PlayStation or Steam shows the plan not renewing.
  • No new EA Play charge posts after the end date.

Source: EA Play.

Common problems

  • Only uninstalled the EA app. Billing continues.
  • Cancelled EA Play while Game Pass was the real bill. Cancel Game Pass instead.
  • Cancelled on EA.com when PlayStation billed you. Use PlayStation Subscriptions.
  • Expected Pro day-one games after downgrading to Play. Pro extras stop when that plan ends.

What we checked

Verified on official EA pages (October 18, 2026): Play/Pro monthly and annual dollars on ea.com/ea-play.

Not verified as identical everywhere: Steam/PS regional checkout totals - confirm on the store that bills you.

Play vs Pro

Pro adds day-one premium editions of select titles and a larger vault. Cancel the tier that matches your receipt.

Game Pass bundle

If EA Play appears inside Game Pass Ultimate or PC Game Pass, managing Game Pass is the cancel path.
