How to cancel subscriptions on iPhone, iPad and Mac
On iPhone or iPad: open Settings > tap your name > Subscriptions > choose the subscription > Cancel Subscription. On a Mac: App Store > your name > Account Settings > Subscriptions > Manage.
If a subscription isn't listed there, Apple doesn't bill it - cancel on the company's website instead.
Apple manages every subscription you bought through the App Store in one list. Deleting an app never cancels its subscription.
Cancel an Apple subscription
iPhone or iPad
- Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad and tap your name at the top.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Tap the subscription.
- Tap Cancel Subscription (or Cancel Free Trial), then confirm.
Mac
- Open the App Store app and click your name at the bottom of the sidebar.
- Click Account Settings.
- Scroll to Subscriptions and click Manage.
- Click Edit next to the subscription and then Cancel Subscription.
Windows PC
- Open the Apple Music or Apple TV app and sign in.
- Click your name > View My Account (or Settings > Account).
- Under Subscriptions click Manage and cancel.
Apple Watch or Apple TV
- Apple Watch: open the App Store > your account > Subscriptions.
- Apple TV: Settings > Users and Accounts > your account > Subscriptions.
If you don't see a Cancel button
- Only an Expires date is shown: the subscription is already cancelled.
- The subscription is missing: you're signed in with a different Apple Account, it's billed by a family organiser, or the company bills you directly (Netflix, Spotify and most websites).
- Shared with Family Sharing: only the person who subscribed can cancel.
Free trials
When you cancel some Apple free trials, access can end immediately. To get the full trial, cancel on the last day, or set a reminder.
Getting a refund
Go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in, choose Request a refund, select the reason and the charge. Apple usually responds within 48 hours. See our refund guide.
