In the US (as of 2026-10-18), Bitwarden's pricing page lists Premium at $1.65/month billed annually ($19.80/year). Families is commonly $3.99/month billed annually ($47.88/year) for up to six Premium users - Confirm Families on the pricing toggle. Free remains available with core features. Cancel in the web vault Settings → Subscription → Cancel subscription (Bitwarden Help: cancel).
Access continues until the next charge date, then the account returns toward Free. Uninstalling apps does not cancel.
Export an encrypted backup before you cancel if you might leave Bitwarden.

How to cancel Bitwarden Premium
On bitwarden.com
- Sign in to the web vault.
- Open Settings → Subscription.
- Choose Cancel subscription and confirm.
- Note the end / next charge date.
If Apple bills you
- Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad and tap your name at the top.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Tap Bitwarden.
- Tap Cancel Subscription (or Cancel Free Trial), then confirm.
If Google Play bills you
- Open the Google Play Store app and tap your profile icon (top right).
- Tap Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions.
- Select Bitwarden.
- Tap Cancel subscription, pick a reason and confirm.
How to confirm it worked
You're done when:
- Subscription settings or the store shows Premium/Families not renewing.
- No new Bitwarden charge posts after that date.
