In the US (as of 2026-10-18), Basecamp's pricing page lists flat account plans: Freelancer $25/month, Studio $59/month, Pro $99/month, and Unlimited $299/month billed annually - no per-user fees. Cancel as an account owner in Adminland → Billing / Cancel (Basecamp Help: cancel or downgrade — Confirm current Help slug if redirected).
Paid access usually continues through the paid period. Export projects before you wipe the account.
Owners only - client guests cannot cancel billing.

- Sign in at basecamp.com as an account owner.
- Open Adminland (or Account settings).
- Choose Billing → Cancel / stop renewal and confirm.
- Export anything you need first.
How to confirm it worked
You're done when:
- Billing shows the account ending or Free after the period.
- No new Basecamp charge posts after that.
