In the US (as of 2026-10-18), Apple Music lists Individual $11.99/mo, Family $19.99/mo (up to six), and Student $6.99/mo (eligible, up to 48 months) on apple.com/apple-music — Confirm live. Cancel in Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Apple Music → Cancel Subscription (Cancel a subscription from Apple).
Closing the Music app does not stop billing. Apple One bundles that include Music cancel as the Apple One plan (SEO lane — not this page).
Web or Android purchases may bill through music.apple.com or Google Play — cancel where the receipt says. Cancel ≥24 hours before a free trial ends.

How to cancel Apple Music
On iPhone or iPad
- Open Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions.
- Tap Apple Music.
- Choose Cancel Subscription and confirm.
- Access lasts until the current period ends.
If Google Play bills you
- Open the Google Play Store app and tap your profile icon (top right).
- Tap Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions.
- Select Apple Music.
- Tap Cancel subscription, pick a reason and confirm.
If you bought on the web
- Sign in at music.apple.com.
- Open account / subscription settings.
- Cancel Apple Music and confirm.
How to confirm it worked
You're done when:
- Subscriptions shows Apple Music Canceled / ending date.
- No new Apple Music charge after that date.
