Gusto price (October 2026) and how to cancel
In the US (as of 2026-10-18), Gusto pricing lists Simple at $49/month + $6 per person, Plus at $80 + $12, and Premium at $180 + $22. Cancel in Settings → Plan / Billing after running final payroll (Gusto Help).
Coordinate tax filings and employee final pay before you close. Uninstalling apps does not cancel.
Company admin / signing authority required. Finish final payroll and filings before cancel.

How to cancel Gusto
Finish payroll then cancel
- Sign in at app.gusto.com as an admin.
- Run final payroll and complete required tax steps.
- Open Settings → Plan / Billing.
- Choose Cancel and follow Help prompts.
- Download reports and W-2/1099 history.
How to confirm it worked
You're done when:
- Plan shows canceled and final filings are submitted.
- No new Gusto base/per-person charge posts after that.

- Canceled mid-payroll cycle. Tax filings can break.
- Only removed one employee. Company plan continues.
- Non-admin tried to cancel. Need signing authority.
