In the US (as of 2026-10-18), Clerk pricing lists Hobby at $0, Pro at $25/month ($20/month billed yearly), and Business at $300/month ($250 yearly). Each app includes about 50,000 monthly retained users before volume pricing. Cancel in Dashboard → Billing (Clerk Docs).
SSO / Directory Sync add-ons can raise the bill. Removing the SDK lowers traffic but does not cancel Pro alone.

How to cancel Clerk
In Dashboard billing
- Sign in to the Clerk Dashboard as a billing admin.
- Open Billing.
- Cancel Pro / Business or downgrade to Hobby and confirm.
- Remove paid SSO / Directory Sync add-ons if needed.
How to confirm it worked
You're done when:
- Plan shows Hobby / canceled.
- No new Clerk charge posts after that.

Common problems
- Only deleted one application. Org Pro may continue.
- Left SSO add-ons on. Extra fees.
- Non-admin tried to cancel. Need billing role.
- Only removed the frontend SDK. Billing continues.
