In the US (as of 2026-10-18), Buildkite pricing lists Free (up to 5 users, limited concurrency/minutes) and Pro at $30 per active user/month, with extra self-hosted agents and hosted vCPU-minutes metered. Cancel in Organization Settings → Billing (Buildkite Docs).
Stopping pipelines does not cancel Pro seats.

How to cancel Buildkite
In Organization billing
- Sign in as an org admin.
- Open Settings → Billing.
- Cancel Pro / downgrade to Free and confirm.
- Remove unused users and agents first if shrinking cost.
How to confirm it worked
You're done when:
- Plan shows Free / canceled.
- No new Buildkite charge posts after that.

- Only paused pipelines. Pro seats renew.
- Left extra agents registered. Agent fees continue.
- Non-admin tried to cancel. Need permissions.
- Only deleted one pipeline. Billing continues.
