In the US (as of 2026-10-18), GitLab pricing lists Premium at $29/user/month billed annually. Ultimate is often sales-quoted (historical public anchors around $99/user/mo annual) - Confirm checkout. Cancel / remove seats in GitLab.com → Settings → Billing or the Customers Portal (GitLab Docs).
Removing users lowers future seats. Uninstalling the desktop client does not cancel the group plan.

How to cancel GitLab

- Turn off auto-renew / cancel the subscription.
- Remove unused seats first if you only want to shrink cost.

You're done when:
- Subscription shows Free / ending after the term.
- No new GitLab seat charge posts after that.
