In the US (as of 2026-10-18), Buffer pricing lists Essentials about $6/channel/month (or $5 billed yearly) and Team about $12/$10 per channel. Cancel in Account → Billing → Cancel plan (Buffer Support).
Disconnecting channels does not always cancel the plan. Uninstalling apps does not cancel.
Account owner required. Export post analytics if you need them.

How to cancel Buffer
In Buffer Billing
- Sign in at buffer.com.
- Open Account → Billing.
- Choose Cancel plan / downgrade to Free and confirm.
- Disconnect channels after cancel if desired.
How to confirm it worked
You're done when:
- Billing shows Free / canceled after the period.
- No new Buffer charge posts after that.

Common problems
- Only disconnected Instagram. Plan can still renew.
- Cancelled the wrong organization. Check account switcher.
- Non-owner tried to cancel. Need owner role.
- Only deleted the mobile app. Billing continues.
