In the US (as of 2026-10-18), Sanity pricing lists Free at $0 and Growth from about $15 per seat/month (usage overages PAYG; Enterprise custom). Cancel in manage.sanity.io → Project/Organization billing (Sanity Docs).
Deleting one dataset does not cancel Growth seats.
Project / organization admin required. Export content before cancel.

How to cancel Sanity
In Manage billing
- Sign in at manage.sanity.io as an admin.
- Open the project/organization Billing page.
- Cancel Growth / downgrade to Free and confirm.
- Export datasets first; remove unused seats.
How to confirm it worked
You're done when:
- Plan shows Free / canceled.
- No new Sanity charge posts after that.

Common problems
- Only deleted one dataset. Seats may continue.
- Left unused editor seats. Seat fees continue.
- Non-admin tried to cancel. Need permissions.
