In the US (as of 2026-10-18), Metabase pricing lists Cloud Starter at $100/month (5 users included; $6/extra user) and Pro at $575/month (10 users; $12/extra). Open Source self-hosted is free. Cancel in Admin → Settings → Billing (Metabase Help).
Deactivating users lowers seat overages but does not cancel the base plan alone.

How to cancel Metabase Cloud
In Billing settings
- Sign in as an admin.
- Open Admin → Settings → Billing (or Account).
- Cancel / downgrade and confirm.
- Export questions/dashboards first if migrating to self-hosted OSS.
How to confirm it worked
You're done when:
- Plan shows canceled / ending after the period.
- No new Metabase charge posts after that.

- Only deactivated one user. Base plan renews.
