In the US (as of 2026-10-18), IDShield commonly lists individual about $14.95/month (1 bureau) or $19.95 (3 bureaus), and family about $29.95 / $34.95 (Confirm IDShield). Sold with LegalShield in many channels. Cancel via your member portal / associate or IDShield support — also Apple/Google if those stores billed you.
Deleting the app does not cancel membership.
Associate-sold plans may need the associate/LegalShield path — Confirm how you bought.

How to cancel IDShield
Member / associate path
- Sign in to your member portal or contact the LegalShield/IDShield associate on your agreement.
- Request cancellation and get written confirmation.
- Note the paid-through date.
If Apple bills you
- Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad and tap your name at the top.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Tap IDShield.
- Tap Cancel Subscription (or Cancel Free Trial), then confirm.
If Google Play bills you
- Open the Google Play Store app and tap your profile icon (top right).
- Tap Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions.
- Select IDShield.
- Tap Cancel subscription, pick a reason and confirm.
How to confirm it worked
You're done when:
- Membership shows canceled where you were billed.
- No new IDShield/LegalShield identity charge posts after that.

Common problems
- Only deleted the app. Membership renews.
- Canceled LegalShield legal plan only. IDShield may be separate.
- Canceled web but paid via Apple. IAP continues.
