In the US (as of 2026-10-18), National Geographic digital access commonly advertises from about $1/month intro offers, with standard magazine/digital rates higher — Confirm subscribe. Cancel direct subscriptions at ngmservice / customer care, phone 1-800-647-5463, or email [email protected] (Customer Service FAQ).

Apple/Amazon/Google/BN purchases cancel with that reseller. Streaming Nat Geo on Disney+ is a different cancel path.

How to cancel National Geographic

Direct subscription

  1. Sign in / open Nat Geo customer care / eCare.
  2. Cancel the magazine/digital subscription, or call 1-800-647-5463.
  3. Keep confirmation email.

If Apple bills you

  1. Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad and tap your name at the top.
  2. Tap Subscriptions.
  3. Tap National Geographic.
  4. Tap Cancel Subscription (or Cancel Free Trial), then confirm.

If Google Play bills you

  1. Open the Google Play Store app and tap your profile icon (top right).
  2. Tap Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions.
  3. Select National Geographic.
  4. Tap Cancel subscription, pick a reason and confirm.

How to confirm it worked

You're done when:

  • Customer care / store shows canceled / ending.
  • No new Nat Geo magazine charge posts.
